Scarthin Books

"MEN OF POWER HAVE NO TIME TO READ; YET THE MEN WHO DO NOT READ ARE UNFIT FOR POWER"
Michael Foot, quoted in The Guardian (U.K. newspaper)
Sometimes I miss not living in London anymore when I discover little businesses like this book shop:
Scarthin Books
The Promenade
Scarthin, Derbyshire, U.K.
This antiquarian bookshop also has a cafe for patrons to enjoy after they browse through the "thousands of rare books.........." According to the description I read the shop also includes a garden complete with "mismatched chairs and tables." (Source: The Week magazine)
Let me get this right -- books, good food, and a nice garden to relax in -- clearly an oasis for travelers like myself.
Add books to your diet,
Todd
